Wherever Life Happens — We Are on Mission

Some believe that only those in “full-time ministry” are called to share the gospel—to preach, to evangelize, to speak openly about Jesus.

But that simply isn’t true.

When Jesus said:

Mark 16:15
“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”

He wasn’t speaking to seminary graduates.

He was speaking to disciples—ordinary men and women who followed Him in the rhythms of everyday life.

The commission was not professional.

It was personal.

Paul makes this even clearer:

Romans 1:16
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…”

Paul did not confine the gospel to synagogues or platforms.

He carried it into marketplaces, prisons, homes, roadways, conversations, and friendships.

He lived it publicly. Spoke it courageously. Modeled it relationally.

That is the Paul Way of discipleship.

And it is our way too.

Those of us living our days in workplaces, homes, schools, gyms, boardrooms, job sites, and neighborhoods are not “less than” missionaries.

We are the front lines.

You don’t need a pulpit to proclaim the Good News.

You need a heart that is unashamed.

At the grocery store.
At the gas pump.
On the sideline of a basketball game.
In a hospital waiting room.
Over lunch with a coworker.

These moments are not interruptions to ministry.

They are the ministry.

Because of this Story—the story of redemption, rescue, and hope found in Jesus—we live differently. We speak differently. We love differently.

We live on mission

Not someday

Not somewhere else

Wherever Life Happens
